Kathryn Kuczka-Hawk is originally from Perrysburg, NY. She is a graduate of Forestville High School and Performing Arts Dance Academy. Kuczka-Hawk founded e.da.co Eclectic Dance Company in July 2007 after receiving her B.A. in dance and minor in communications from Slippery Rock University. During her time at SRU, she performed and choreographed in Slippery Rock University's Dance Theater and numerous other concerts including Senior Synthesis Concerts, Site Specific Tours, and Informal Showings. She was selected to perform in faculty and guest artist pieces by Melissa Teodoro and Thom Truss. Kuczka-Hawk was awarded the SRU Dance Department's Lucy Issaco Sack Summer Dance Scholarship where she spent two summers training with the Radio City Rockettes. She performed their repertoire at the Pittsburgh Playhouse and the American Airlines Theater in New York City. She served as Faculty Member’s Thom Cobb, choreographer’s assistant for Slippery Rock University Theater Department’s “Little Shop of Horrors”. She assisted Cobb as a student assist for various specialty classes at SRU.


In the fall of 2007, she performed in Buffalo Contemporary Dance Co-Director Amy Taravella's piece, "Bikini Launch", which was performed in the grand opening show of the Alt Theater and BCD's 2007 Show. As a solo artist, Kuczka-Hawk has performed her piece, "The Not So Desperate Housewife" in Pittsburgh for Laboratory Dance Company's 2007 Black Box Show and Lincoln Park Performing Arts Festival in Western Pennsylvania. As Executive and Artistic Director of e.da.co, she has produced and directed professional shows in Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Western New York and New York City. She has had the opportunity to choreograph Forestville Central School's productions of "Cinderella", "Grease", "42nd Street", "Crazy for You", "Brigadoon", “South Pacific” , “Into the Woods” & "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and Silver Creek High School's production of "Guys & Dolls".


Kuczka -Hawk opened e.da.co's main location in Fredonia in September 2011. She is proud to offer a variety of dance genres and performing arts opportunities for her students and prides herself along with her staff on making sure that no student falls through the cracks. She is proud to foster each student's love of the arts and their growth into young adults. Under her direction, e.da.co has been recognized by dance professionals for it's ability to teach proper dance education and uniqueness and creativity.


In January 2016, Kuczka-Hawk was proud to move e.da.co to a spacious and fabulous new studio space located at 117 Cushing Street, Fredonia.
