Bridgette Kurtz grew up in Hamburg, NY. She graduated from Frontier High School in 2009 and moved on to pursue her dream of teaching at SUNY Fredonia. Kurtz received her B.S. in education in 2013 and her M.S. in education in 2015. She is now currently a full time ENL (English as a new language) teacher at Dunkirk Senior High School.

Kurtz showed interest in dance at the young age of 2. She has been dancing since then and finished her dance training in 2009 at Performing Arts Dance Academy in Hamburg, NY. Throughout college Kurtz took part in Orchesis Dance Company for several semesters at SUNY Fredonia and took master classes with Eddie Styles from the Jabbawockeez and LA dancer and choreographer Andy Torres at Performing Arts Dance Academy. She has experience in jazz, tap and hip-hop; however, hip-hop has absolutely stolen her heart.

Since beginning her journey at e.da.co, Kurtz has continued her dance education through CLI classes, Godfrey Virtual Technique Classes, attending DanceUSA's 2020 Conference, Karida Griffith Tap Technique Seminar and becoming Acrobatic Arts Certified.

Kurtz is entering her thirteenth season with e.da.co and could not imagine her life without her beautiful dance family.
