Sandra began her training at age 11 in Jamestown NY, at Academy of dance Arts, under Shirley Kopp form National Ballet of Canada and Ballet Russe De Monte Carlo. Sandra danced in Jamestown Civic Ballet Company, Inc. Founded by Shirley Kopp with opportunity to work with many famous choreographers such as Oleg Briansky in his”Airs and Dances”, fast solo by Andre Eglevsky in “Paquita“ also in the Corp with Eglevsky’s company. She danced in choreography by Diana Jablokova-Vorp, George Tomal, Marilyn Ramsey, Richard Sias, Alexi Romav, Francis Petrelle, Marguerite Duncan and many others. She was offered Scholarships to New Jersey Ballet and Alvin Ailey. She later danced professionally with San Diego Ballet under Keith Martin, Empire State ballet touring upper east coast and Canada, modern companies Pick of the crop Dance, 3’s company (Betsi Roe), San Diego Dance Theatre (Carl Yamamoto), Stage 7 Dance Theatre (Marius Zirra), LA Ballet, Soloist Ballerina for American Festival Ballet touring the midwest and west coast, Soloist for La Jolla Festival Ballet, San Diego Ballet danced in Serenade by Jillana (principal dancer under Balanchine). She settled in San Diego and has been a versatile dancer, teaching, and choreographing all styles of dance for many dance schools, companies, operas, production companies, fashion shows, adult entertainment, and many children’s youth programs, all over San Diego County area for over 20 yrs. Was living in Ocean Beach with her lovely daughter Natalie for 30 years. Since 2013 has been living in Jamestown New York and has worked at Infinity Performing arts taught dances from around the world and dances throughout history. At Studio Dance Conservatory taught Ballet, Jazz and modern classes. Currently teaching Ballet and Creative Dance at Chautauqua Regional Youth Ballet.
